He came to us full of excitement, curiosity, and an incredible desire to create.

By his third semester, his work had already caught attention—one of his designs was commissioned by the artist M.I.A. His experimental Mylar looks were absolutely mind-blowing and showed us just how fearless his creative vision had become.

Here is his final-semester presentation for you to see—a reflection of how far talent can develop when it is supported by strong technical skills, experimentation, and the freedom to find your own voice.

But his journey didn’t stop at graduation.

After completing his internship at a trendy sportswear studio in New York City, he was invited to join a celebrated millinery team in Manhattan. And in 2026, he reached an extraordinary milestone: he helped create one of the hats for the MET Gala.

Jojo Naturally

Through her exploration of natural fibers, upcycling, and sustainable design, Jojo began building an entire creative ecosystem around her work. She invested her time in discovering local farms, fiber producers, makers, artisans, craft circles, and community resources. Rather than simply sourcing materials, she builds relationships—bringing people together and creating opportunities for them to participate in her projects.

Curretly she is producing wool and cotton wearable products and sells them in farmer markets and craft fairs.

What makes Joanne’s approach particularly compelling is her resourcefulness. Rather than a traditional studio, Joanne chose a community-based model — partnering with local farms, fiber producers, and makers to build her supply chain from the ground up.

Jojo is building more than a sustainable fashion practice. She is creating a community-based model in which local materials, traditional skills, collaboration, and environmental responsibility come together. Her greatest strength may be her curiosity: every person she meets, every material she discovers, and every new skill she explores becomes another connection in the growing network behind her work.
